The day started with slow drizzling rain and a gloomy sky, but by the time Kelsea and Tyler walked through those beautiful white double doors of the Nauvoo Temple, as husband and wife, the rain had ceased and the skies had cleared.

Both dressed in all white, this sweet couple was all smiles as they braved the wind (which did make for some interesting moments during shot set-up) and a little cooler-than-normal-summer-day….but none of that seemed to matter.

A beautiful bride and handsome groom, full of love and happiness, surrounded by family and friends on their special wedding day in Nauvoo…….that was all that mattered. Here are a few of the photographs we captured.

Congratulations to such a sweet couple! Even through standing on towels or sitting on (hidden) blankets placed on soggy ground or waiting for “just one more” shot or set-up when the wind blew things around…..you were awesome. We enjoyed your excitement and especially your gentle ways with each other. May life bring you every dream come true.

Summer in Nauvoo is awesome. Plenty of blue sky and sunshine, light breezes and shady trees, and beautiful flowers in every corner of the Temple grounds. Add to that a most delightful bride and groom and you have the perfect wedding day.

Angelique and Billy were fun loving and dreamy-eyed at the same time, never tiring of hearing “just one more shot.” They posed and smiled, letting their love for each other mingle with their humorous side. Lots of laughter and a relaxed couple made this wedding session charming.
