Spring arrived late in Nauvoo with the last snowfall just two weeks before Krista and David’s wedding but as the saying goes, there is a silver lining in every cloud. What could possibly be the silver lining of April snow you ask? Everything bloomed at once!
It is rare that tulips are in full bloom and trees are filled with blossoms at the same time, along with the grass and shrubs already green and leafed out. Even the lilacs at the Smith Family cemetery were blooming.
The stunning backdrop along with a beautiful bride and handsome groom made for an amazing wedding session. Shades of purple in the bridal party attire blended perfectly with nature. Here are photos of a Nauvoo spring wedding at it’s finest……
To Krista and David,
It was such a pleasure for us to get to know both of you and meet your sweet families during your wedding celebration. May you be blessed with all the tender mercies and abundance of love throughout your lives together.
All the best!
Tom and Jeanette
