Bringing your family to Historic Nauvoo for a reunion almost assures a memorable time together but when pioneer history is part of your heritage, the visit is even more meaningful. When Marla (and Rob who wasn’t able to make the trip) planned this reunion, they wanted to share their love of 1840’s lifestyle along with pioneer heritage with their grandchildren.
Marla planned ahead and made marble pouches for the boys and pioneer hats (that doubled as an apron) for the girls. Kids may not remember much of their visit to Nauvoo but they do remember time with cousins, the horses, and memorabilia brought home……especially when made by grandma.
See a few of their fun moments in Nauvoo below….
To Marla (and Rob who we missed),
Thank you for asking us to photograph your family during your reunion in Nauvoo. What a wonderful posterity you have! Your love of pioneer history and your love of one another was a joy to see. May you each receive the richest of blessings.
All the best!
Tom and Jeanette
